Description

Our real carbon fiber trim kit adds some high tech race technology to your new Indian Scout. This 9 piece set includes two frame inserts, two neck inserts, two belt cover inserts, two radiator cover inserts and a shift rod cover that slides over the factory shift rod.

The shift rod cover is 13" long so you will need to trim it to length. Because the rod ends can be turned to adjust the height of the toe shift lever we leave the cover a little long. Cut with hack saw.

Carbon Fiber Trim Kit June 21, 2015
Reviewer: JG from Kansas City, MO United States
Rec'd the carbon fiber trim kit, and the carbon fiber is of good quality. The only complaint I have is that the 2 pieces that fit int he odd shaped area under the Scout seat, don't seem to be cut right. When I got what I thought were all sides even, the last side would be off. I couldn't find a position where all sides lined up evenly on those pieces (particularly the piece on the right.) All other pieces fit fine though.

Superb product! May 18, 2015

I ordered this trim kit and received it in three days. Fast shipping.
When I opened the package, I expected thin, flimsy carbon fiber, but was pleasantly surprised. All of the panels are rock solid carbon fiber, including the shift linkage cover. There is another company that makes a similar product, but requires drilling and riveting into my beloved scouts frame. This self stick product preserves the bike and looks better in my opinion.

Install was super simple. Good quality 3m tape on the back. I did discover that you need to have a clean surface clear of all products, including polish and protectant. Clean the area first (wd40 worked well for me). A simple hack saw worked well to trim the shift cover. Measure it first, cut, then install.

Looks great, really sets off the look of my Indian scout! Thank you very much for a great quality product!
